Shadow of the Moon
As the darkness had the rule on this plane
It wasn’t easy, for me to see this vision,
That now for so long I do display
Back then wasn’t visible so well – that’s God’s decision

A large gothic mirror, reflecting everything on sight
And In front of it, there was a beautiful lady
 Dressed appropriate to the night
But the mirror did not reflect her youthful body
 „Hmm...Is this all right?”

 She turned her back
 And deeply gazed at me
 Hair so pitchblack
 Fused with the dark sea

 Her pale lips didn’t move
Nor did she step forth and come to greet
 Darkness this sight couldn’t approve
And so consciousness I had to meet

Yes, the lady with no reflection
Pale and mysterious as the moon,
Cruel, has no place for affection,
Because after all that she sent me to my room
