Hi, my name is Hudson Miller Barnes.  I think my name is cool. I think that for quite a few reasons.  My full name comes from a lot of different things.  For example, my first name is a very New York name.  It comes from the Hudson valley.  There is the Hudson River and the Henry Hudson Parkway; that is because I was born in New York and I lived there for over 3 years!
First off, I will tell you about my first name. As I said before, it comes from New York and more importantly the Hudson River.  This is because I lived in New York. I was born there and lived there when I was a little kid.  When I was born and lived in New York, Hudson wasn’t a popular name.  Now, it is becoming more common.  I actually know a lot of boys named Hudson. There is a baby boy in my church named Hudson.  He also has blonde hair and blue eyes, which I think is cool.
Secondly, I want to share with you my middle name. My middle name is my mom’s maiden name. The name is Miller. I sometimes go by Miller. In soccer games when my dad wants to tell me something, he calls me Miller.  It’s kind of like my other name that not too many people know about.  I like the name Miller.  I don’t know a lot of kids that have that name, so it seems unique.  Its cool too because me and my mom share the name Miller and have that name in common.
Lastly, I want to share my last name. My last name is Barnes.   I feel like last names are important.  For example, if you are in the year book and you have the same name as someone else it could get confusing.  Last names help identify people better.  If yearbooks only labeled people by their first names, and if you didn’t have a last name, it would be hard to tell who was who.  Even when you’re an adult you might not be able to tell the difference of you or someone else.
Overall, I love all my names.  They are all very important in their own way. I think they are all unique as well. My name represents me.  I am proud of who I am and the 3 names I represent.  I hope you learned something about me, Hudson Miller Barnes.
