Dark by Crystal G.A
?The forturned it brought
while they whispered the thought
the sight of her exposed her
as she fought with the legend, the urban legend
She crept through the night
the sight of her
exposed her
she would not
no...could not
Escape the spotlight
While it brought her fright
she nourished the light
and taken flight
She was the color of
aubergine...they compared her
to the color of night
as the night moved with her
she moved away the light
with all her might
maybe it was the envy
they admired her
admired her serenity
but they said her skin was as soft as velvet
Her relevence
bothered the ythe most
was it the color of her skin?
or how free she moved with it
because she was free
but even the speacilist of her kin
whispered and admired after her
as she soared,
and roared

As a latina a lot of people envy those who move free with the best colors of their skin, and people get jelous but at the same time people who have the privlage eny their colors but are the ones who hate the most.
