The horse was deep gray, the cold color of sleet .
The rider only ever moving slightly, controlling the cold monster made of sleet.

The child walks through the candy store looking at all the bright colors.
But the outside world is dark and colorless, in holds the color and consistency of sleet.

A light blue crystal sky removes the mask it wears in the summer months.
In the winter it reveals the color of its true self and releases it in the form of sleet.

A bright white winter’s day is shining on the horizon.
But for now all you are rewarded is the never ending roads of sleet.

A dog runs through the golden field, but it does not blend well,
For the coat it wears around itself is the color of wet and cold sleet.

The rain is cold, and while it may be fair to state that no one likes a rainy day,
Imagine if it were sleet.

The thunder booms and lightning strikes, but everything is still warm.
That is of course until the inlaws come to town, and among them there is sleet.

The painter pictures many beautiful scenes, and captures them on canvas.
But think of a time when one stopped to admire, the beauty within the sleet.
