My First Crush
She was my first, I'll never forget.
She lives in a folder with my other regrets.
However, she was no mistake.
Rather, she is a test I wish I could retake
or a program that I could reset.
Elegant with every breath,
close promiximity brought me near death.
In the days where my voice would shake,
she was my first crush.
I texted first, she replied like a jet.
We then had a "thing" but my fear hasn't seized me yet.
Our "thing" lasted for like 3 weeks; those weeks were great.
We texted and texted, our friends wanted us to date.
Succumbed by a mysterious fear, I ran away without a sweat.
There goes my first crush.
