You're a Monster
The dark petaled roses, the soft touch of your hands
You said this was love
You said that no one would hurt me anymore
You said I was safe, and yet here you are behind bars
For 1st offense rape
You’re a monster
I was so in love with you I didn't see the monster everyone saw
I heard the warnings of my father but I didn't care too much at all
But you were the one
The one who destroyed my life
The one who manipulated my mind into loving you
The one who prided himself off the fear of a defenseless girl
You're a monster
And maybe I could've helped you, but when I saw that look in your eyes I knew it was too late
I tried asking for help but the man upstairs told me you'd chosen your fate
I kept on hoping it was dream, but it wasn't
I kept believing I would recover, but I didn't
And thanks to you I'm stuck on drugs to rid the pain
Thanks to you I can longer look my father in the eyes
Thanks to you I will have a baby in six months
And until the day I die I will tell your daughter one thing:
You’re a monster
