Smoke fills the sky
From fireworks or barbecues but no one knows

A young boy jumps into a cold, refreshing pool
It’s filled with kids out for summer break.
As soon as he steps out the beating sun attacks him.
The July sun will make him jump right back in.

It tastes like like sweet lemonade
And feels like watermelon dripping down cheeks.
Cool colorful children’s tongues from melting popsicles
Because the July sun is so hot hot hot!

The end of July is every teenagers dream.
The annual Country Thunder and Lollapalooza!
