Grandpa
I get older
He gets older
he can't even lift his shoulder
time flies by
then he flew high
I wish i knew you were better
can I send you a letter
I still have your messages on my phone
but now I know you are home
Everytime I fish I think of you
You sitting over there drinking Mt. Dew
Everytime I take a cast
I have to remember it could be my last
But I don't let that stop me
I picture us sitting watching TV
Everytime I clean your knife
I knew God had taken your life
I know you are more alive than you have ever been
as you rejoice with the Lord in Heaven
