Like a snake
I slither through the grass
Never knowing who
Will trust me at last
People think
I get angry too fast
They think
I'm just mean and venemous
Some think
I'm hideous
I don't mean to be mean
But when I am
I think someone or something
is threatening me
That is the only time
I bite
Besides when I am hungry
I just want people
To understand me
That I just
Want to slither free
