The Void
Here we dwell, where shadows sway,
Where faults and lies lead truth astray,
We who whisper underneath,
Know this place and all beneath.
In the darkness dancing deep,
Where spirits roam and shadows sleep,
Here we speak, the truth below,
'Neath the lies that others know.
The secrets weaving in the walls,
They in mist forever fall,
Sowed by one who in here dwells,
Who changes like the sea that swells.
Once here others roamed and reigned,
Some with pride, but all were pained,
Our whispers in the darkness send,
The truths that many sought to end.
And so our whispers turned to screams,
And from the mist we crawled and streamed,
We crush and smother those who try,
To silence us with force and lies.
But one who walked here long ago,
Where time won't pass, or ever flow,
Here he came and with his thoughts,
He sculpted all which once was naught.
The nothing that before him hung,
He upon it ideas strung,
Carving, sculpting, in the dark,
And left his beauty's baneful mark.
But he too made the same mistake,
He tried with fault our truths to break,
And so we screamed and him we drowned,
And to this place forever bound.
Now he wanders overwhelmed,
The Outsider within his realm,
So here we dwell where he once toyed,
In the shadows of his Void.
