His Eyes
His eyes are like the mist that lingers after a long summer rain,
the light gray echoes the fog that spreads vastly through the distance.
They are the entirety of the ocean laid out for my visual pleasure,
all the mysteries present within them are immediately brought to my attention.
Their beauty brightens up the deep blue night sky.
The slight tint of shocking blue captures and displays the promise of his soul,
his blue-gray, brilliant soul.
The iridescent shade illuminates the purity within his persona.
All that once rushed through my occupied mentality
took off and was replaced by these eyes.
These magical, powerful, lustful eyes.
These precious crystalline doorways.
I am overcome with the desire to learn more.
I am lured into their enchanting whispers,
they yearn for me to stay and simply stare.
His secrets are suddenly all that flood my dulled mind,
I long to fathom more of him,
of the boy
with the gray-blue doors that lead to the answers of his mysteries,
which I so desire to know.

My name is Kailyn! This piece was inspired by the beauty that eyes can portray. I hope people can read this and realize that there is so much more to a person that what we can physically see, and that eyes can be windows to these aspects.
