puppets
we are but puppets
dancing on a sheet of rubber glass.
we try to twist our world into what we want to see,
but glass doesn’t lie, we can’t escape honesty.
the unknown is thought to be nonexistent,
but it’s just not yet discovered.
we think that what we do is a conscious choice,
but it may just be because of the universe’s voice.
we are but puppets
dancing on a thread of steel.
we try to break free from the wires that control us,
but we must smash the rubber glass
and cut the steel thread
in order to realize that
we are the ones holding onto our wires.
we are the marionettes.

My interests are in astronomy and astrophysics. What do we perceive and what does it mean? Who are we? How do we go through life, what will we make of it and who determines it?
