Shiny with minimal bruising
A different kind of apple
Brand new
Golden green and perfect

Each bite was a new everlasting memory
Devouring divine deliciousness
The apple
Eating away at was once green
The green shell no longer shows
We are left with the core
An hour passes
No longer green
The white crisps turn yellow
Turn brown
Golden green and new
No more
Left out in the air
To decompose
To turn old
No more to devour
Golden green and new
Standing alone; the core
Thrown away
