You Shall
You Shall
In the afternoon, I raised my head, seeing the western sun gilding.
What am I to do?
The answer my mind gave me was so prompt, so d r e a d, thatIstopped… my ears.
I could not bear such words now.
I must leave him,
Decidedly, Instantly, Entirely.
I pondered. I cannot do it.
Then a voice within me averred, that I Could do it.
I wrestled with my own resolution,
And swore with my arm of iron.
Let me be torn away then.
Let another help me? NO.
You shall tear yourself away. None shall help you.
You shall.
