Blood is Thinner Than Water

Blood.
It runs through us all.
It pumps up our spirit and brings life to our body.
Water.
It’s in us all.
We need it to live.
To nurture our souls and hydrate our minds.
In science,
blood may be thicker than water,
But in life..
I have blood thinner than paper
and water thicker than the clots
you left in my heart.
I have family who are like friends
and friends who are like family.
