Writer's Block
Writer’s Block
I don’t know what to write about,
I am at a loss of words.
I cant seem to form the thoughts in my head and it makes me want to shout,
I can't even think of a word that rhymes with words.
I don’t know what to write about,
a cat has got my tongue.
I might as well just put the pen down and walk out.
I might be able to write something down if only the night was young.
I wish I knew what to write.
I have stared at this paper for far to long.
I fear we may just be hear all night,
maybe I would have better luck writing a song.
I have writer’s block,
It is as clear as day and night.
It is as if my brain is under key and lock,
I wish my creativity would just take flight.
There are no words for me to say,
Except that my writing skills have really gone astray.
I am quite literally speechless.
My vocabulary is truly at its bleakest.
I am at a loss for words.

I was inspired when I was trying to complete an essay for school and suddenly I just couldn't figure out what my next thoughts were, so I wrote a poem about it.
