Roses are red, violets are blue
That's what they say but it just isn’t true
Roses are red and apples are too
But violets are violet not blue
Oranges are orange but greenland’s not green
Your pinky finger isn’t pink
An apple can be red too
To call something blue that is not is wrong
Why do we say violet is blue
Oh yeah because violet is hard to rhyme
