Hole In The Sky
A hole opened up in the sky today, not a bird flew nor a raindrop fell.
A hole opened up in my heart today, not by a sword wound but the sharp agony of nothing new.
Frantically searching, what was it that filled that great big hole in the sky?
Now sometimes a raindrop falls out, quenching the growing thirsts of the surrounding wildlife.
Ah it was the sun.
Now sometimes a tear wants to fall down.
What was it that filled that great big gap in my chest?
I won't let it surface
Oh yes it was her.
Not again.
