The marks you left were tragic,

flawed in every way, like you

beautiful, just like you were.

I hate you. I hate you. I...

can't bring myself to hate you.

It'd been months, no sign of you.

Now you're here and you won't speak?

Many unanswered questions.

Do you still care? Do you still...

Stop. Falso hope is too frequent.

I'd do anything for you.

I know I pushed you away.

I didn't think it would hurt,

but toxic people like you,

always find a way back home.

This piece is a syllabic poem and it is about the toxic people I've encountered in my life.
