My sister and I used the ball as if we had a concrete sphere
What happened to the hoop
let me tell it is a prodigious scoop.

It reminded me when my whole family was staging in our driveway  just the other day.
Oh how it made me pay
BOOM, BOOM, SMACK the ball  rushed headlong towards me
Alexis was all glee

By bringing  gushing waterfalls  to my eye
Which had made me  cry.
My sister was as fast as lightning
we heard a sound.

SWISH into the net alexis started to frown
I heard a sound.
we started to turn around.
…CLANK, BLAM. The hoop was insolvent 
I didn’t dare speak.

Our basketball hoop was demolished.
After all we had just polished.
Oh well we had to rehash what to do.
My dad came out.
I thought he was gonna pout.
Instead he was astonished that happened.
After the hoop being past its prime I guess  it was it's time.
In spite of  I started liking it less and less.

      
Later on we parlayed another basketball hoop.
oh man was it a bute.
Oh to my knowledge I’ll remember the challenge.
setting it up was hard at least we had a grown up.
We all started to play a game with the new hoop
it felt like wise, I really enjoyed it.
And that was the whole entire scoop.
