I climbed up the unstable bouncy house
Out of nowhere I saw a mouse
Jumped and shaked, then made a regretful mistake
If only I had a handy handbrake
Smack,flash,down I went
“Did I just do a field event”

Jumped up and hit my head
Now I just wanted to drop dead
Raised up as blind as a bat
“Am I a doormat”
`My eyes raised up, face turning pink
Dad asked”is that an ice rink”
Smiled then laughed
“I feel like I need an x-ray photograph”

Another sun rise and I am ready for the day
Walking down the hallway, my mother setting to say
“HAPPY THANKSGIVING, do you want some coffee”
“No, sorry but I would love some toffee”
Uncle is cooking and baking away, getting ready for this big day
It almost feels like he is making a cafe

Afternoon comes very soon
Everyone was a crazy buffoon
We eat everything we see
Now I felt like a green pea

Now it was time to go to sleep
Slept like a white sheep
Two in the morning wide awake
I felt like I had a very bad headache

A washer machine started up in my stomach
If only I did not eat that last muffin
Race up the stair to the closest bathroom
At least it was not my bedroom
The smell was chicken and turkey
Because I ate all of that jerky

It felt like many weeks,
That I waited in bed with weak knees
Finally healed
My doctor soon revealed, that i licked the unstable house
I then got a horrible flu
If only I could redo that horrible day
There would be a mouse trap there for a day
