Strangers With Memories
My best friend, but now a stranger
My everything turned into nothing
His smile with dimples turned into locked eyes with a stern stare
Walking past him
Seeing him
Thinking “oh it’s just him”
Going home crying, thinking I should’ve known better
And when people ask why they say “oh it’s just him.”
The apple of my eye, but with the blink of an eye, he’s gone
My everything turned into nothing.
Had me thinking “oh it’s just him”
Leaving my friends saying “it’s still him”
Three years down the drain
Trust.
Friendship.
Laughter.
Support.
Love.
Happiness.
Loyalty.
And a smile that cannot be found
I didn’t just lose a piece of my heart, I lost a part of me.
It reminds me that one negative could f*** it all up in math, just like people.
My everything turned into nothing.
We used to be best friends
But now I guess we’re just strangers with memories.
