Liquid Words

A liquid of utterances spewed from thin glass
As ghastly mutters never seemed to pass
Her allies stood in a dampened, hushed
While their sober thoughts remained crushed

But a rush of resonance left
Endearing praises escaped from the glass’s promising chest
Humans surrounded this rare state
Heart’s relaxed in an awestruck fate

Once a timber moment
Warped into a forsaken enjoyment
The liquid emulating an angel and devil
Rose to an unwanted level

Swords of passion accepted silent whispers
Blades of anger rejected tumbling twisters
Now the seeds planted in minds of woe
Could not reach the path set to glow

An infinite loop forgave the mask
But the thin glass failed to ask
Liquid spewed on and on
Spurring in a heart treated as a miniature pawn
