Emotions Are … MAG
Fear is waking up at 12:00 a.m.
Dazed and confused
Then finding yourself in a hospital bed
Fear is being alone in your basement
When the power goes out
Left wondering what lurks in the darkness.
Frustration is going to school every day
And leaving feeling unaccomplished
Frustration is watching your closest friends fight
Continuously stuck in the middle
Frustration is seeing her like a princess
While you continue to be the slave.
Sadness is loving someone with all your heart
While they’re unable to return the feeling
Sadness is being best friends with your aunt
Until finding out she’s no longer living
Sadness is managing a life-long disease
Wishing on a star you could be normal again.
Loneliness is staying home every Friday night
While your friends enjoy a party
Loneliness is eating dinner by yourself
Because your parents had to work late again
Loneliness is being in a room filled with people
And experiencing a world of your own.
