When The World Turned Flat

Just like that,
The wold turned flat.
As siin as I laid eyes on her,
my hair stood up like fur.
I never knew there could be such a thing,
just then i knew i had to get a ring.
This may come as a fright,
but it was love at first sight.
I locked my legs and tried to make my hands steady,
and at that moment I knew I was ready.
I got down on one knee,
and said... Will you carry me? Over to that girl?
Then in one swift swoop,
I gave her a scoop... Of my ice cream
Growing old faster and faster,
we lived happily ever after.
