A long long time ago in a galaxy far, far away,
There’s a war, destroying innocents everyday
It all started with the Sith and droid army
Slaughtering thousands on a murder safari.
In that era was born a sweet-talker
That boy’s name: Anakin Skywalker
Raised on Tatooine, birthed by the Force
He began his training, course by course.
He married a queen against Jedi laws
Though powerful, he had many flaws
He was unstable, immature and blind
This made the Dark side easy to find.
He was warned not to take that path
But he was a slave to the power his love hath
His anger consumed him and he killed all
Which is what led to the Republic’s fall.
The Empire rose from the ashes like a phoenix
This part is sad, you might want a Kleenex
Anakin left, in his place, Darth Vader
Death and destruction, he was sure to cater.
What he did not know is he had children
A son and a daughter, two in a billion
They were the only ones with the force inside them
Leia raised by the Organas, Luke watched by Ben.
Three movies passed, and the Empire fell
A new Republic rose with the chime of a bell.
30 years of peace passed throughout the galaxy
A new enemy arose, naturally
The new face of evil, the First Order
It pushed the balance to the border
A lonely stormtrooper by the name of Finn
Saw the trouble that he was in
He called to Poe Dameron, the Resistance Pilot
To escape the First Order’s riot.
They crashed on Jakku, a desert planet
Made of quartz, sandstone, and granite
They were separated; Finn found Rey
A scavenger who found BB-8.
The trio found a famous ship
And captured by Han on a space trip
They witnessed a thrilling battle between evil and good
After the battle ended, an older Leia stood.
Revealed is the son of Leia and Han
Kylo Ren, the teenage spawn
A plan is hatched to destroy the Starkiller base
It was a horrible and dangerous race
Kylo Ren and Rey duel each other with lightsabers
The battle was long, frightening, and belabored
Her strength in the force is not to be mistaken
Han Solo dies in the Force Awakens.
