Sense
Time passes on by while I
Sit in my room
Lights off but the dim twinkle
Of this past christmas decor
Vanilla bean swarms my senses
Taking over the hushed chatter of Greys
And the faint crackle of the WoodWick
Cozy, fleece comforting the smoothed, exposed surface
Putting down the piece
Lonely, heavy eyes begin to dream

My poem was a lot about the sense and how comfortable I feel in my room. Its my safe haven and where I write my best work.
