What is that undistinguished blur that stands high in the distance?
This path I sit upon distracts my eye like a wolf mesmerized by it’s prey.
Excitement ignites me.
Can you smell that pine aroma in the breeze?
Leaning over the edge that fresh aqua beneath me invites my nose.
Contentful surroundings.
Guided by wooden tracks, an old creek with every step follows.
If only I didn’t have to head home.
