Gray Wolf

A withering breeze kisses the tip of my nose,
now my eyes dart forward, followed by independent steps.
Pausing to scan quiet ground biting my toes,
grass gradually peaks upon new land, nature ignores the heps.

Journey’s amid light, and bolting into the sunset paints the path,
continuously dancing with the stars, while walking for the adventures ahead.
Strong enough to stand my ground, for all who dread my wrath,
yet mending wounds within the woods, as if I’m string and thread.

A proud stand before flight into a new setting, visualizing reborn colors,
earth prances with me, guiding an optimistic creature using its elements.
No need to track where to go, but if lost, an inner animal hollars,
and leading the pack out of love, still protecting out of intelligence.

I am the Gray Wolf.
