Everything around you continues to change
Adapt to the world in order to survive
And as we grow old, we must make an exchange
To be equipped with the tools to be alive
You will constantly change your views and morals
Be daring and brave and take a risky dive
Be vibrant and bright like colorful florals
Or be frank and candid to put forth the truth
Be searing and sharp like the ocean’s coral
So, as innocent and free you are in youth
That could surely change to a feeling of ruth
