Neverending Time

I am gazing through infinity;
I sit in the ice, all out of time
Everything repeatedly seems to pass me with rapidity.

For now I am in the vicinity,
On my ex’s doorstep covered in rime
I am gazing through infinity.

Everytime I search for my affinity,
The next hour seems to chime.
Everything passes me repeatedly with rapidity

For I have never seen true divinity,
As it is all a mime.
I am gazing through infinity,

For this proximity,
In my prime;
Everything passes me repeatedly with rapidity.

But for all the sublimity
And all the rhyme;
I am gazing through infinity
Everything passes me repeatedly with rapidity.

The author's comments:

I am not a creative person by nature, I prefer the sciences and maths that are clear-cut and have a definite answer. But, I wrote this piece because of the feeling that I sometimes get that time seems to be passing by me and never seeming to "look" behind it to see me.
