Favorite Quote:
"Sometimes, when I have to do something I don't want to do, I pretend I'm a character from a book. It's easier to know what they'd do." -Will Herondale

Like a flower I will grow.
I, will blossom from head to toe.
My roots will keep me standing,
from within the ground.
Soon my goals, will all be found.
People judged me by every petal,
but they do not know the pain I have felt.
They will pick me from the grass I love so,
And put me in a vase so they can gloat.
I will not be dead, nor will I be alive.
My will shall leave my kind-hearted soul,
And soon I will not have a single petal.

The author's comments:

I was inspired to write this piece of poetry due to the fact that I was going through a lot, not just school, but at home too. When people read this piece I want them to think of both the negative and positive things they have been through and think I got throught that and I will continue to think I will get through it.
