Heart
The only thing I hear
Is the loud pounding in my ear.
My eyes blinded by the light,
And my tongue cannot taste a bite.
The only thing I feel is the emptiness of the thin air.
All my senses are overthrown by my heart.
To me she is nothing but art.
At this very moment, the greatest strife
Is trying to keep life.
It seems no one has any more care.
At my first glance I begin my inspection.
To my surprise I see nothing more than perfection.
But you and I would not call this love,
I am just a lost dove.
We are not to be a pair.

This poem is just a general sum of what it feels like to be out there trying to find love, but your efforts just never seem to pay off.
