Spring

Flowers blooming,
Birds chirping,
Seeing the rain die down as the sun comes alive,
These are my favorite things about Spring.
I see the rain go away,
For now the sun is here to stay.
School is almost out,
So I will no longer pout,
I sure hope we don’t have a drought,
Because I love water.
I take out my sunglasses and flip flops,
My shorts and my tank tops.
I smile as I say goodbye to my sweaters,
Because that means saying goodbye to colder weathers.
Summer is near,
I only fear,
That school will come again.
Oh dear.
