Her World
She was incredible
She looked at the world in a different way
And she wasn’t afraid to either
She was going to change the world
I knew it, everyone knew it, except her
In her mind she was ordinary
She wasn’t beautiful, just pretty
She wasn’t brilliant, just smart
She never saw herself the way everyone else did
She was lost
I always told her that everything was going to be okay, that nothing was wrong
But she never accepted that
She was so afraid of the future and the unknown
She could never live in the moment
She could never see the world for what it was
A harsh, unfair and cruel place
Her world wasn’t amazing
Her world was right
