The news is on, spilt tea is dripping and leaking  all over the brown coffee table. ‘Drip Drip, drop drop’ as the coffee hits the wooden floors. one year ago today, Maria Crocket’s daughter ran away and the police promised that Maria’s daughter was deceased. So how come when Maria comes from work everyday a kitchen light is on, in fact it is the exact light that Maria’s daughter turned on in her dream about 2 nights ago. Every night, In her daughter’s room Maria sees her daughters shadows and still hears her daughters voice inside her head. Did the police forget to tell maria something about her daughter that she needed to know? Is Maria’s daughter really out there roaming the streets still alive? Maria’s daughter was 13 years old when she ran away. She was bullied in school for almost her entire life. Her daughter’s name was Shelby. Shelby Anne Crocket. Shelby has orange hair, blue eyes, freckles, and was about 5’5. When shelby ran away and ended up dead, it wasn't the first time that she has ran away. Shelby’s body was found in a lake near her 1 story home. But was it really Shelby’s body. Not only is Maria creeped out, but she is worried whether or not her daughter is out there alive. Lately her dreams have been a little too scary and confusing. In her dreams, shelby shows up to the house after school to walk her dog, Shelby eats her favorite snack which is cheese its everyday after about a hour of homework. Although it isn't a dream, its very confusing.. Maria’s ex husband (Dan) has been calling but hasn't left any voicemails, so Maria didn't bother to call back. Dan is also Shelby’s dad. The next morning, Dan calls Maria’s cell phone with a detailed message saying “MARIA I FOUND SHELBY.. WELL SOMETHING LIKE THAT. MEET ME ON FOX VIEW ROAD AT 12 NOON TOMORROW!!” As tomorrow comes Dan shows Maria a picture, the picture was of two identical twins. ONE OF THE TWO GIRLS WERE SHELBY. “why are you showing me this Dan?” “I am showing you this because i swear i have been seeing Shelby around, but i never really said anything because she is “deceased” then i found this photo and thinking back to my visions i am guessing the police have the wrong person.” Dan said excitingly. “Even if that is the wrong person, what the hell can i do to find my daughter.” Maria said, worried. “Well being that i used to work for the CSI, i have connects and i am sure i can do something even if i no longer have the skill” Dan exclaimed. Maria hates his guts, but anything to find Shelby. “WAIT!, THE CHIP I PUT A CHIP IN SHELBY’S HEAD AS A CHILD! I JUST HAVE TO FIND THE PHONE THAT THE CHIP IS CONNECTED TO!” Dan said. After locating where Shelby is both parents absolutely cant wait until they find her again! Shelby is located all the way in gaithersburg Maryland across town, being that she lives in baltimore Dan and Maria are confused as to how she got there. According to the chip, Shelby is located inside a house. They arrive to the house. “Shelby? is that you? both parents said at the same time. “MOM?! DAD?!” Shelby screamed. They both ran into give Shelby a hug. On the car ride back home, Shelby explains that she got there because she was kidnapped and the police were telling different lies to them by saying the body was in the lake. 2 years later Shelby learned a lesson and has not ran away since the incident.
