Be Nice
Those red and blue lights
Highlight your scowl
Hand over my height
A fist so fowl
Our pig is dying
Hasn’t been fed
We are just trying
Want to stay in bed
Turning these corners
Like any day
Is someone’s horror
But it’s the way
We do not know
We cannot tell
If one has great woe
Hidden too well
Be nice
Be kind
Understand
Accept
Or you’ll live in regret

There is no way to know what someone is feeling, what they've been through, or why they are the way they are. We shouldn't judge, we don't have the right to; so I hope my poem evokes that message and inspires others to be kind and accepting, and to always think before one creates an opinion.
