Nothing Is Wrong?
Nothing is wrong?
And yet they tell us
People die every day
We are made o believe
Something goes wrong
When everything seems to be going right
But that's not the way it is
The world is at peace
There is no war
Innocent lives are not being lost every day
I wish I could believe that
People don't care about each other
But that isn't trye
They tell us
Nothing is wrong

My poem is a reverse poem which means that if you read it backwards it will convey a different message as opposed to when it is read forward. The current events dealing with ISIS inspired me to write this piece. I wrote it a day after the terrorist attack on Paris and I hope that people open their eyes and realize thar innocent lives are being taken every single day.
