Endure the Force of Storms
Perfect moments are always memorable.
Memorable like your voice aloud.
Aloud, like the thunder outside.
Outside your arms isn’t home.
Home is where you are.
Are you coming home tonight?
Tonight waiting for you patiently.
Patiently fixing up our bed.
Bed, on your side-cold.
Cold tears on fevered cheeks.
Cheeks stained with worrisome thoughts.
Thoughts of where you are.
Tonight restlessness took me in.
In it’s arms I felt alone.
Alone, in the storm’s presence.
Presence, I need you here now.
Now you don’t even call.
Call to me in dreams.
Dreams, maybe memories of us.
Us is something I miss.
Miss me like I’m important.
