It is tough to find an object in my house that represents me perfectly, because inanimate objects cannot tell you how they feel. To find their meaning, you have to seek them out and do the analyzing yourself. After some intense introspective thought, I would say a clock is object that is the most like me in my house. Everyone has a clock and everyone knows a person who is not extremely outgoing. The clock does not seek you out to tell you the time, but if you ask it, it will always tell you. I think this encapsulates me because I am there for people when they need me. I also think I am like a clock because a clock is always changing. Whenever you look at it, it is slightly different but it is still the same person you know. It is forever changing and forever constant, a paradox that can describe both a clock and many people in this world. You can predict what the clock will look like later, but you will never be exactly correct. People can surprise you and change in ways you never thought possible. But, the clock will always return. It is still bound by the same morals and values despite the fact that its outside changes. A clock ticks much like a heart beats and you never know when either of them is going to stop. It is time to start appreciating the symbolism of the clock.
