As you straighten your hair,
and curl your eyelashes,
do you see what societies done?
Telling young girls that beauty does not come from the inside,
but from the brands we all feel the need to wear.
When an act of kindness is thought as selfish,
and happiness is something we can buy.
The people that you wish to be just dummies for the companies they work for.
When do you let yourself see the truth?
