If I could marry the sun, I would.
The sun keeps you warm on a breezy sunny afternoon,
Wrapping its heat around your body like a blanket.
Who wouldn’t want a love like that?

The sun only shows off you best features.
Making you average brown eyes,
A lovely new color you have never seen before.

The sun enhances your pale pigmentation
Into a gorgeous, glowing goddess.

But the sun and you got divorced.
Now he burns your neck.
You are no longer a goddess but an ugly, peeling skinned reptile.

You don’t see the sun in the winter anymore,
Only small glimpses of what you once had together.
You start finding yourself craving the warm embrace again.

The sun will always be your first love.
