Let Go.
There comes a stage in everyone's life (Hopefully) where there are just some things or some people that we need to let go of, no matter how hard we are holding onto them. We all are confronted by someone who becomes toxic to us, and that very person, is imbedded in our lives so deeply that it really is not that easy to get them out and no matter how much you do not want to do that, deep down when you aren't able to sleep because of all the over thinking, you realise that you must. You are only going be as good as the people who surround yourself with, and when you can't let go of toxic people, they eventually bring you down. Now, I struggle with letting go, especially when it comes to my relationships with friends or otherwise, and if you do too, the biggest advice I could possibly give is that you need to stop feeling guilty about it. Think about it, what are you really guilty about? About not making room for people that make you feel small? Or about ending things with people that hurt you and don't let you grow? When over thinking actually works in a good way, you begin to understand that it genuinely is time to let go of people that just always take and take from you and never give anything back, leaving you empty, let them go because in a wide ocean of your entire life, they are the anchor drowning you. Hey! With all the teenage drama that exists already, do we really need more? Do you really want to hold onto something bad, when you can easily let go of it? Reading these words is the easiest part of this process, but no matter how difficult getting rid of toxic people gets, know that the more you surround yourself with positivity, the more optimistic and happy you will end up being ; Understand that nobody really has the power to infect your environment and make you feel bad about yourself unless and until you want them to.

What inspired me to write this piece, is my very own personal experience. Ending relationships, good or bad, it is a hard thing for me to do, and recently I have made some progress. This article is something I wish I read, when I was trying so hard to let go of all the negative people in my life.
