Never Forget
Tears falling from the sky as the people cry for their loved ones
Their cries are so loud that you would do anything for it to stop
Stomp Stomp Stomp Stomp
The sound of the Nazis’ boots marching down the streets
Their hands covered in blood, dripping onto the cobbled streets
Every time a drop of blood falls onto the ground a person dies
11 million drops fall onto the ground
The grey sky is looming over the people
There is no sun shining
No children in the streets, shrieking as they play
Instead the streets are almost deserted
For people do not dare to come onto the streets
They fear for their lives and their families
Families, friends, neighbours always look over their shoulders
Afraid that the Gestapo will one day come and barge in their houses to get them
For years the people have lived in terror and prayed for it to be over one day
To be reunited with their loved ones
Even though this terrible crime occurred more than 70 years ago
We must never forget the chaos the Nazis have brought to this planet
Never forget the lost loved ones
Most of all never forget the Jews, the Gypsies, the deaf, the crippled, those who resisted, the elderly, the people with disabilities, and everybody else that has died or lived through this war
For they have suffered greatly
Never Forget
