Red and Black
The shadows dance
along the walls.
the whips long tail
rises and falls.
I see nothing
but darkness here.
In this place of death
and fear.
I hear the thin wails,
day and night.
Of little children
filled with fright,
of muffled cries
and bloodshot eyes.
This dirty place
is filled with lies.
there is nothing
but darkness here,
in this place
of death and fear.
One day, soon,
I will see the sun
I will run away
from everyone.
And into the light,
away from here!
fighting the dreams,
and awful nightmares.
and never once,
will I look back.
To that place
of horrors
colored red
and pitch black.
