Where is Home
Wyoming is home
It’s where I learned to walk and talk
Write and read
Run and play
Wyoming is home
Where I spend my summers by the pool
Always drinking something cold
Always swimming
Wyoming was home
Before I was forced to put all of my belongings into boxes
Put them in a truck
And leave it behind
Wyoming was home
When it was summer and everything was green
But now, sitting in the back of my little green car,
I can feel the cold chills of the upcoming winter crawling in through the window
Wyoming was home
But now I’m sitting in my car
Confused and heartbroken
Wondering where my new home is
