My Sunshine

When dusk has turned to dawn and I am afraid in the black of the night,
I will turn to you to hold me tight; my angel, you are so bright.
Each day I will awake to your sun beams shining on me,
reminding me everything will be alright, as long as I have my sunshine right by my side.
You light up my life, like the stars illuminate the night sky.
I wish you knew how much you mean to me, your presence is like my caffeine.
If I am lost you make the stars align.
Guiding me home,
You are my Sunshine.
