The Doge
Roses are grey violets are grey I am a dog.
I play in the grass and soak up the sun.
While with my owner to have a little fun.
I eat in the morning and I eat at night.
When I don’t I have to give up a fight.
All I do is play all day.
And I do not have say.
All he does is throw the ball.
And all I do is laugh and fall.
Running through the fields I go
And then as I get slow
We spend every day together.
And we only do this for the better.
We had fun and we wanted it to last
But now this was all the past
Until my owner had passed away.
And I have never seen him since today.
