Untitled
Stop all the jealousy, dismiss those bad thoughts,
Prohibit the image from returning with pink polka dots,
Turn off the treadmills and with a light heart,
Bring out the pizza, get out that shopping cart.
Let frosted cupcakes dance up overhead,
Spinning in the minds eye as you lay in bed,
Put cream filled candies round the sweet house of your dreams,
Let the mind and the body wear a pair of new, bigger jeans.
May it be winter, spring, summer, and fall,
My growing closet, and my inner doll,
My early, my late, my walk, my song;
I thought that image was everything: I was wrong.
The world is sparkling now: come out every one;
Pick up those forks and eat that Cinnabon,
Pour away the sad and eat up the cold.
Be bigger, better, brighter, bold.
