The Golden Flame

I gaze into the golden flame and see a spark of light,
As it fades I look away,
The ending of a life
No mortal life has ended
But an earthly one at that
The flame has set on a day
The darker light will rise
The ending of a life
The tragic days, the doleful days
As one may presume,
Would only exsist in dreams
In the ending of a life
I gaze into the golden flame, risisng on the hills
A spark of light, ignighting in the sky
Turning the darkness that was suspended over all
To a new light, giving strenth to all its inhabitants
As it reaches the peak, it becomes the golden blaze
